If you go to the Los Angeles International Airport and paparazzi aren’t swarming the arrival of some fresh-faced celebrity, then did you really go to LAX?
Chrissy Teigen knows this better than most people, and she has a secret for avoiding crowds. Earlier this week, the model took to Twitter to let her followers know how she sidesteps not only LAX’s mobs of paparazzi, but also the long airport lines.
Prompted by a fan who asked, “How the frick do most celebrities travel on planes? Are you ever just hustling through the airport trying to make it to your gate on time?” Teigen replied, “There is a terminal a mile from the airport that you pay membership for. They do the same security privately and take you to the plane in a car. I know. I know.”
Teigen didn’t refer to the secret terminal by name, but People reported that the probable location is The Private Suite at LAX, a private gate that promises guests the avoidance of long lines, crowded concourses, and, most of all, paparazzi.
Before the flight, guests even get their own private suite to wait in, complete with a bathroom, stocked food pantry, daybed, and view of the runway. When it’s boarding time, guests are driven to their plane.
After paying an annual membership fee of $4,500, members can experience The Private Suite with an additional $2,700 for a one-way domestic flight or $3,000 for one-way international. But, if you’re like most people and can’t drop thousands for a membership, you can always just dish out the low, low price of $3,500 for a “non-member” experience.
For once, Chrissy Teigen is so not relatable!
