Look, I don’t know what it is either. But there’s something particularly fun—hell, we can even call it enjoyable—about watching the sexed-up horndogs on Too Hot To Handle try (and often fail) to keep themselves under control in an attempt to win prize money. Call it reality TV, call it a game show, call it a contest, call it voyeurism at it’s finest—I’ll call it some damn entertaining TV. And with Season 2, Too Hot To Handle brings in a group of people who may even be more entertaining than the group of characters from Season 1.
This season, the contestants were put through a particular agony: they had no idea they were being signed up for Too Hot To Handle. In fact, they were initially led to believe they were going to be on a fictional show called Parties in Paradise. But by the end of the first episode, this facade is revealed when Lana, the sex-banning, Alexa-esque cone is revealed. And from there, the games begin.
While it would be hard to top the group from Season 1, Season 2 sure goes for it. Season 1 leaned heavily on the on and off again nature of Harry and Francesca and then gets a boost from the late entry of people like Bryce, Season 2 has all sorts of interweaving webs within itself (and thats before it gets some late entries of its own). As the season moves along—its episodes released this time in two waves, rather than all at once—more and more drama will reveal itself.
For now, though, you can learn more about the initial eight participants in Too Hot To Handle Season 2—unfortunately for them, not Parties in Paradise—below.

Chase is a 25-year-old with a calm demeanor who plays football professionally. He went to Central Washington University, where he played defensive line. They talk about how he’s one of the biggest guys on the show in Too Hot To Handle Season 2, but in case if you want an idea of just how big he is, he’s listed on the CWU site at 6’5” and 245 pounds. He’s most recently signed with the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. His Too Hot To Handle early bond is with Carly, but he’s got some competition and also gets put to the test a good bit. He also has a million followers on his TikTok account. Casual.

Peter—who goes by Pete most often in Too Hot To Handle—is a 21-year-old from Staten Island, NY, who has more than 2 million followers on his TikTok account, @peter_vigilante. He frequently posts workout and comedy videos, which he also posts on Instagram. He’s one of the more entertaining characters of Too Hot To Handle Season 2.
I’m in time square baby! Also I ruined my Balenciagas for this so this better pop….
A post shared by Too Hot To Handle – Cam 💫 (@camholmess)
Cam is 24 years old, a model, and a self-proclaimed “sexy nerd.” He forms an early bond with Emily in Season 2, but that bond is put to the test quite often and in a variety of different ways. He’s a big Lord of the Rings fan, and even has a tattoo referencing it.
A post shared by Nathan Webb (@nathankwebb)
Nathan is an English-born gentleman currently based out of Fort Worth, Texas, where he works as a stripper/dancer. He basically seems to have formed his entire identity around the movie Magic Mike? He’s really been embracing his new life as a Texan (complete with photos on his Instagram in a Mavericks jersey!), and also, as we see in the first episode, thinks his English/Texan hybrid makes him quite the catch. We’ll see if the rest of the contestants at the retreat agree.
A post shared by Marvin Anthony⚡️ (@marvin.anthony_)
Hailing from Paris, France, Marvin is, at 6’4”, another of the biggest guys at the retreat in Season 2. He’s a former basketball player and works in finance. He forms an early bond with Melinda, but clearly doesn’t like to commit and tries to have things both ways. According to his Instagram, he’s a model and also maintains a TikTok account and a YouTube channel. He’s also a big Oprah fan? Nice.
A post shared by Melinda Berry (@melinda_melrose)
Gonna go with a hot take here: Melinda is the breakout star of Too Hot To Handle Season 2. She’s consistently funny and down to earth, and doesn’t seem to take herself too seriously like a lot of others on this show so often do. She forms an early bond with Marvin, but it definitely has some bumps along the way. She’s 28 years old, is based out of NYC/Brooklyn, and grew up with 15 other siblings.
Emily Faye Miller

Emily forms a very early bond with Cam, and they kind of feel like the Harry and Francesca on/off couple of the season. She’s a 24-year-old model based in London, has a good sense of humor, and also has her own TikTok account.
A post shared by Larissa Trownson 💋 (@larissa_trownson)
Larissa doesn’t seem to have an Instagram, but she’s the 28-year-old, New Zealand-born lawyer of the bunch for Too Hot To Handle Season 2. As her Instagram bio says, “you can be intellectual & wear a bikini too!” She’s admittedly normally a rule follower—you know, the whole lawyer thing—but seems to be willing to go against her nature for the Too Hot To Handle (or, uh, Parties in Paradise) chapter of life experience.
She’s definitely one of the more mature members of the cast, and chooses not to be reckless with the prize money in the same manner that some of her cohabiters are. Since she’s a lawyer, she gets compared a few times to Elle Woods, Reese Witherspoon’s character from the classic comedy Legally Blonde.

Carly is 24 years old, and while she gets a lot of attention upon first arriving at the retreat (and even more from an eventual newcomer), she forms an early bond with Chase. She considers herself a “man-eater,” and has some cool tattoos.
A post shared by Kayla Carter (@kaylajean.official)
Kayla is 26 years old, and a model, and a bartender. She says she had a strict upbringing, and as a result doesn’t often follow the rules as an adult. She also specifically has a type—”a bad boy”—that she doesn’t find easily with this batch.
