David Prowse who was best known for his portrayal of Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy has died aged 85. The British bodybuilder portrayed the iconic Sci-Fi villain, although the character was voiced by American actor James Earl Jones. David was also well known as the Green Cross Code Man, leading a campaign to promote a road safety campaign in 1975. But what is known of the actor’s cause of death?
How did David Prowse die?
David’s agent confirmed David’s death today November 29 who died age 85.
Bowington Management tweeted: “It’s with great regret and heart-wrenching sadness for us and million of fans around the world, to announce that our client DAVE PROWSE M.B.E. has passed away at the age of 85.”
Not much is known of the actor’s death. However, David was said to have suffered a short illness before his death.
