Caroline Flack took a drug overdose the night before her court appearance in December, which was two months prior to her tragic death, an inquest into her death has heard.
The Love Island star took her own life at her flat in Stoke Newington, north London on 15 February this year, hours after she discovered court trail over an alleged assault would be going ahead.
And, in an inquest on Wednesday 5 August, it has been revealed that two months before she was found in her flat that she had “taken a small overdose”.
A witness statement by Harley Street psychiatrist Dr Brian Wells made the revelation as they presented evidence at Popular Coroner’s Court in the resumed inquest into her death.

It explained that on 11pm December 22 2019, he was alerted by Caroline's management that she had taken a "small drug overdose" in a London hotel.
Dr Wells was informed Caroline had been drinking alcohol. He arrived at the hotel within 30 minutes and found Caroline inebriated in bed and “vomiting into a waste bin”.
