Bret Michaels has promised that Poison will return in 2020 with some new songs.
The band has not released any new music since the release of Poison’d back in 2007.
“There’s never going to be a day when I say, ‘I’m done with POISON,'” the lead singer of the glam metal band said in an interview with Newsday. “The band is looking forward to returning in 2020 with some new songs. We are still having the time of our lives on stage,” he added.
Michaels, who is currently developing a new reality show, a video game and a solo album, said he is always working on something new and will continue “until the day I go to the other side.”
Replying to a question on his marriage plans, Michaels said, “Well — that’s always a work in progress!”
Michaels is the father of Raine Elizabeth, 18, and Jorja Bleu, 13, two daughters born in his relationship with Kristi Lynn Gibson.
