Bill Bailey has failed to show up for his scheduled interview on Zoe Ball’s BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show this morning, sparking concerns.
The presenter told listeners she didn’t know what had happened to him, but was “sending love” and hoped he had just overslept.
Listeners also expressed their worry for the comedian, as one wrote: “@BillBailey are you okay Bill missed you on the breakfast show today?”
Speaking to listeners earlier on in her show, Zoe expressed her excitement at being joined by Bill, Jill Scott and Paloma Faith later on in the studio.
As time went on however, only Jill and Paloma showed up.
After playing a song, Zoe said: “What a line-up we have for you this morning, although we have someone MIA [Missing in action].”
She went on to joke that she was “putting out a call” for Bill, as she proceeded to say: “Has anyone seen Bill Bailey? Please could Bill Bailey make his way to Wogan House, Central London, thank you very much.”
Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Bill for comment.
