Safiyya Vorajee has shared footage of an intricate manicure she’s had done depicting a beautiful portrait of her late daughter, Azaylia Cain.

The 33-year-old took to Instagram stories to reveal the poignant tribute ahead of Azaylia’s funeral on Friday so she could look at her ‘guardian angel’ all day.

She wrote: “My tribute nails to look at you all day. My heart is aching so hard I’m so nervous for today but I promise I will do you proud baby.” She wrote over this with a crying emoji and an orange heart emoji.

The footage was posted to Safiyya’s 1.1million followers with Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey’s song, When You Believe playing in the background.

In the footage, followers could see her beautiful nails were encrusted with glittering diamantes, images of angel wings, an image of Simba from Disney’s Lion King, followed by an intricate picture of her late daughter, Azaylia.

Her other hand mirrored the first set of nails, with her middle finger portraying a picture of herself kissing her baby girl as she holds her up to the sky.

Safiyya added: "My guardian Angel. My daughter Azaylia diamond cain Mummy hold you on my heart forever #letsgochamp".

The funeral of Safiyya and her partner Ashley Cain’s daughter, Azaylia, is being held in Nuneaton in Warwickshire today.

The funeral started at 10am with rows of orange balloons covering the fence at builders' merchant Jewson in Heath End Row before crowds for the start of the procession.

It wasn't long before more than a 100 people lined the streets, with some holding onto orange balloons in honour of Ashley and Safiyya's "lion" daughter Azaylia.

Others sported T-shirts with Azaylia's face printed on them while some carried bunches of orange flowers and lion balloons.

This comes after Azaylia tragically lost her life in late April this year, following a battle with leukaemia.

The infant was just two months old when she was first diagnosed with an aggressive and rare form of blood cancer. She had been receiving care at Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital.

Following multiple rounds of chemo and a bone marrow transplant, the family were told the devastating news that Azaylia's leukaemia had returned.

In a final attempt to save her life, the pair launched a fundraiser to pay for specialist treatment in Singapore. Fans and celebrities rushed to offer support, and they shattered their target of the £1million needed within hours.

But days later, in an emotional update the former Ex On The Beach star shared the devastating news that doctors believed Azaylia had just days to live after they found tumours throughout her body.

The pair announced Azaylia’s funeral details just over a week ago.

They said: "We would like to thank everyone for their prayers, words of sympathy & patience over the last few weeks, while we come to terms with the loss of Azaylia.

"We have been incredibly moved by the support we have received far and wide and all the beautiful gesture of kindness will live in hearts forever."

They added: "As truly difficult as the day will be, we are going to give it our all to keep Azaylia’s day an uplifting day of remembrance for her life and encourage anyone attending to show their love by clapping and making joyous noise of celebration as the cortege goes by!

"We would love to make her final journey a special one as she watches from heaven. LETS GO CHAMP!" with a red heart emoji.
