A Bronx man was busted for killing his wife’s lover and dumping the body in Yonkers, police said.
Christopher Myrie, 49, was arrested Thursday afternoon in connection with the November incident — when he allegedly fatally stabbed his wife’s lover after finding the couple together, police said.
Myrie walked into his Edenwald Houses apartment on Schieffelin Avenue to find his wife with 24-year-old Portsmouth, Va., resident Deshawn Seaborne. He allegedly murdered Seaborne, stabbing him several times, according to authorities.
Police said Myrie and his wife stuffed Seaborne’s body in a duffel bag and left it outside a Yonkers bank.
Local cops discovered the body while responding to a report of a “suspicious duffel bag” at a Wells Fargo bank on Odell Avenue around noon Nov. 19, according to a previous Yonkers Police Department press release.
Myrie was charged in New York City with murder, manslaughter, hindering prosecution, tampering with physical evidence and official misconduct, police said.
Both he and his wife, identified by the Yonkers Police Department as 29-year-old Jonisha Graham, were previously busted by the Yonkers PD in December for trying to hide the body. Each was charged in Westchester County with a felony count of concealment of a human corpse.
The investigation is ongoing. It wasn’t immediately clear if Graham will also be charged by the Bronx DA.
