Rachel Weisz blew her top at the Baftas after being told to wait outside until the Royals arrived

The luvvie, 48, rounded on security after being asked to hang on until Prince William and Kate made an entrance.

One guest said the Mummy star, who landed a Best Supporting Actress gong for The Favourite, raged: “I’m important, too.

“This is a night about actors. Why am I having to wait in the cold and wet? I have people to see. I’m not having this’.”

The onlooker at London’s Royal Albert Hall added: “Everyone was really shocked because of the strength of her anger.

“When she asked why she had to wait she was told it was because of Wills and Kate.

"She still went mad — but when a Royal enters the red carpet it is locked down. No one can move.”

Guests at the venue had to wait again when William, 36, and 37-year-old Kate left, prompting irritation from other attendees.

Footage inside earlier showed Kate looking embarrassed and repeatedly telling guests: “I’m sorry to keep you waiting.”
