Sean (played by Robert Kazinsky) is going to kidnap Amy Mitchell, daughter of his former partner Roxy Mitchell (Rita Simons) on the BBC soap.
He will pick the youngster up from school on EastEnders and tell her that Roxy sent him.
However, as viewers know, Roxy died along with her sister Ronnie (Samantha Womack) back in 2017.
The moment has been revealed in the Spring trailer for the soap where Amy can be seen asking: “Did my mum really send you?”
Did my mum really send you
Sean then confirms that she did send him.
When Amy was born, Sean believed he was the father of the tot but it transpired her real dad was Jack Branning (Scott Maslen).
The secret was revealed in an explosive Christmas episode when DNA results were put into a cracker by evil Archie Mitchell (Larry Lamb) and it destroyed Sean.
In the wake of his fury, Sean kidnapped Amy and almost killed them both along with Roxy.
But why has he taken Amy once again?
She’s currently being looked after by her dad Jack who also cares for his son Ricky who had had with Roxy’s cousin Sam Mitchell (Daniella Westbrook).
Viewers will have to wait and see what Sean gets up to when he’s back in Walford.
Speaking about his return back in January, Rob said: “Throughout my career I have always felt that my best work was on EastEnders as Sean Slater, that there was something there in him that I understood completely, something traumatic, something that we never really got to show the viewers.
“I have unfinished business in Albert Square and am thrilled to be returning to what I still consider to be my home, however briefly.”
Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) has been in touch with her brother about their mum’s illness.
Sadly, Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
Although she ran away from the problem at first, Jean eventually returned to Walford after Stacey managed to track her down.
But Jean doesn’t want Stacey to have to look after her as she goes through the treatment so she asked Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) if she could move into the Queen Vic.
Linda (Kellie Bright) wasn’t too impressed to find Jean living in her house when she return from Australia, however.
The landlady went through her own ordeal two years ago when she had cervical cancer and the reminder of it is a painful one for her.
EastEnders continues tonight at 8pm on BBC One.
