Utah Jazz’s Rudy Gobert ejected for tirade three minutes into game against Rockets

Rudy Gobert's night immediately got off to a rough start. It ended with an early shower. A very early shower.

The Utah Jazz center picked up his first foul a second into the game Thursday night against the Houston Rockets, then was ejected less than three minutes in after picking up a second foul and lashing out on his way to the bench.

Gobert was whistled for a loose ball foul one second after the opening tip-off. Shortly after, Gobert was jockeying for position inside against James Harden and picked up an offensive foul at the 9:13 mark for pushing Harden.

Upset that Harden appeared to embellish his fall, Gobert exchanged words with referee Courtney Kirkland before angrily slapping a bottle off the scorer's tale. Gobert was assessed a technical foul, then ejected when he continued to argue from the bench.
