LEICESTER centre-back Alex Pascanu has interest from a QUARTER of Premier League clubs after his Euro Under-21 displays.
The 20-year-old has helped Romania storm to the semi-finals, with their 4-2 win against England sending Aidy Boothroyd's youngsters home early.
Pascanu had FIVE top-flight clubs enquiring about him this window and eyeing a summer bargain.
Leicester triggered their option on Pascanu's contract but he still only has a year left on his King Power deal.
Brendan Rodgers is set to look at him in pre-season as he earmarks long-term successors to Wes Morgan and Jonny Evans.
He also has Caglar Soyuncu pushing for a place and Filip Benkovic returning from his loan at Celtic, where he worked with Rodgers.
But Pascanu could now compete for a first-team place, with the risk of Rodgers losing him for nothing in a year.
THE girlfriend of Romanian Under-21 star Cristian Manea was left crying and covered in blood during the Euros clash with France.
Crowd trouble marred the goalless draw at the Dino Manuzzi Stadium in eastern Italy.
