DANIEL JAMES received a hilarious apology from his brother Alex after being left out of his older sibling's fantasy team.
The Welsh youngster, 21, had a dream Premier League debut for the Red Devils when he came on and scored United's fourth in their opening day 4-0 drubbing of Frank Lampard's Chelsea.
But older sibling Alex did not benefit from his brother's success admitting he left him on the bench of his fantasy side.
However, he clearly saw the funny side and took to Twitter to issue an apology to his little bro after the game.
He tweeted: "When you leave your bro @Daniel_James_97 on the bench in your fantasy team and he comes on to score.
"Sorry DJ, I'll have more faith for the rest of the season."
James Jnr was also left on the bench in real life as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer started Anthony Martial instead for United's Prem opener.
But luckily for James, he came on in the 74th minute with his team leading 3-0.
And just six minutes later, he completed his dream debut by rifling the the ball past Kepa Arrizabalaga with the help of a meaty deflection from Emerson.
After the ball hit the net, the winger sprinted to the corner flag at the Stretford End and celebrated with raw passion and emotion before pointing to the sky in an apparent tribute to his late father.
James' dad died earlier this summer just days before he signed for United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted after the game the Welshman has had a tough start to his life at Old Trafford.
