Arsenal fan appears to make anti-Semitic gestures to Tottenham supporters in video

Footage has been posted online of taunts being aimed between rival sets of supporters during the 2-0 Carabao Cup win for Spurs.

And one supporter is captured making what look to be racist gestures to the followers of their North London rivals.

Another is then caught on camera allegedly spitting on a Tottenham fan, as stewards struggle to maintain order.

The footage is believed to have been filmed at the segregation line separating rival sets of the supporters.

The apparent incident comes just days after Chelsea supporters sung anti-Semitic songs mocking Spurs fans at the Europa League tie with Vidi in Hungary.

The video has leaked out while Arsenal and the Metropolitan Police try to track down who threw a bottle which struck Dele Alli on the head during the match.

The Gunners have today released a statement condemning any bad behaviour by supporters, and promised to help authorities investigate any potential wrongdoing.

And they have stressed that they have a zero-tolerance to any incidents of anti-social or discriminatory behaviour.

The statement said: "We do not tolerate any anti-social, discriminatory or violent behaviour at Arsenal Football Club.

"Anyone identified will receive a lengthy club ban and their details will be passed to the police to commence legal proceedings."

Officers are already working with CCTV staff from Arsenal to try to put a name to the idiot who launched the plastic bottle at Alli.
