Extra critically injured on ‘Transformers 3′ set
MAYWOOD, Ill. — Indiana State Police state a motion picture extra has been critically injured on the production set of “Transformers 3.”
Spokeswoman Sgt. Ann Wojas stated Thursday that Gabriella Cedillo is in critical condition, according to a family member.
Authorities state the “Transformers 3″ crew was filming a stunt late Wednesday in Hammond, Ind., when an object flew through the windshield of the car that 24-year-old Cedillo was inside and hit her.
She was taken to Loyola Medical Center in the Chicago suburb of Maywood.
Police state Cedillo was an extra, not a stunt professional.
A hospital official states she has no information about Cedillo.
