IT may only be autumn but some people have already started thinking about Christmas presents.
So it's no wonder savvy shoppers are racing to Asda after seeing the supermarket has reduced a load of stationery – including Sharpie pens and glitter highlighters.
Nicola took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to share her massive stationery haul, as she wrote: "Well impressed with my Asda bargains!! Thanks for the earlier posts.
"Being stashed away for Xmas & kids party gifts".
In the accompanying snaps, she showed the 18 packs of stationery bits she'd picked up, with a photo of the receipt showing that most of what she'd nabbed was less than £1.
"Amazing, I haven't seen any reduced at my local Asda," one person commented on the post.

As another agreed, writing: "All still full price in my Asda!"
"Was this a big Asda or George Asda?" a third asked.
To which Nicola replied: "Crawley Asda is a big store with George clothes too".
"Wow wish I got some of these for my classes. Hopefully be some left tomorrow," someone else wrote.

Kitty also hadn't held out much hope that she'd be lucky enough to find some reduced bits in her local Asda.
And while she did manage to grab a few bits, she was stunned by the labels for the bits that had already gone.
"I had suspected to there won't be any reduced stationery left at my local Asda (Cowley, Oxford)… and I was right!" she wrote.
"I was very surprised by what they did have by looking at the labels though.
"Pens, pencils, chalk pens, notebooks, Sharpies, highlighters, loads! So fab deals for those who got them.
"There was still stock of these Pukka Pads and Sharpie gel pens."
She also shared photos of a Leaf it with me notebook that was just 35p, and Sharpie gel pens that were 60p for the pack.
Kitty added that there were "lots of party items on sale", pointing out packs of plates for 40p, straws for 25p and an 18-piece reusable cutlery set for just 88p.

"Never get any of these reduced deals at our Asda….." someone commented on Kitty's post.
To which someone else revealed that it was actually an Asda Living store that Kitty had been to.
