Young the Giant have released a stripped down version of the rock band’s chart-topping single “Superposition.”
“Superposition (Reflection)” is a song from Young the Giant’s fourth album, Mirror Master.
The original version of the track topped the Alternative radio chart for three consecutive weeks.
“‘Superposition’ is about finding the common thread that weaves our constant refractions, recognizing the constant that hides behind infinite variations,” the band’s frontman Sameer Gadhia said in a press release.
“So why the hell not give you another version of the song—another reflection,” he added.
Young the Giants are getting ready for a co-headlining tour with Fitz And The Tantrums, which is scheduled to begin at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado, on June 12.
The summer tour will conclude at the Downtown Las Vegas Event Center on August 10.
