Peter Andre’s American dream ‘under threat’ as wife Emily refuses to move

Peter Andre 's plans to find fame in America could be scuppered after his wife Emily said she doesn't want to move.

The Mysterious Girl singer has signed with Piers Morgan and Mark Wahlberg's US manager, and is said to be determined to build a career Stateside, although he'll keep his current manager too.

Dad-of-four Pete has revealed his plans to crack America, but he may have to make the journey alone.

His wife Emily, with whom he shares kids Amelia, five, and Theo, two, has revealed the reason she's dead against moving to the US.

Speaking at the opening of the Caudwell International Children's Centre, as she became an ambassador for the charity, she told The Sun : "I'm excited for Pete and I hope he's getting work out there. He is away on and off anyway with his job in the UK.

"Pete is very good, he always contacts us when he's away. He is never away for more than a few days at a time."

But when asked if she'd move permanently, the 29-year-old said: "No, we've got school age kids."

Peter added that he's thinking about getting a "base" in America, but that he's going to wait for a while to see how things go.

The singer, who also shares kids Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, with ex-wife Katie Price , signed with manager John Ferriter last month.

He's now in talks for American TV but has insisted he has no plans to steal Mark Wright's job on Extra.

Emily also recently revealed the reason she may never have more children with Pete.

After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their first child, Archie, Pete seemed to be struck with baby fever.

The singer shared a string of gushing posts about the royal baby , leading fans to believe he's getting broody.

But Emily, a doctor, told Mirror Online that more kids might not be on the cards after all.

She said: "Both of us love the royal family and were so happy for both Meghan and Harry. Becoming a parent is an amazing feeling and it was lovely to celebrate a new life coming into the world.

"We both love big families but are both happy with how we are at the moment. As far as another child’s concerned, Pete changes his mind every day."
