Elton John Earns 20th Top 10 Album On Billboard 200 With ‘Diamonds’

Music legend Elton John has earned his 20th top 10 album on the Billboard 200 chart with greatest hits album, Diamonds.

The buzz created by biopic Rocketman, helped Diamonds to surge from 23rd position to 7th, Billboard reports. The set earned 32,000 equivalent album units in the week ending June 6, according to Nielsen Music, up 83%.

Rocketman was released in U.S. theaters on May 31 and stars Taron Egerton as Elton.

Meanwhile, Rocketman‘s soundtrack rose from the 58th spot to 50th on the Billboard 200. The set, which rose 13% to 12,000 units, consists largely of Egerton’s covers.

The Rolling Stones boast the most Billboard 200 top 10s with 37, followed by Barbra Streisand with 34. The Beatles and Frank Sinatra both have 32 top 10s, while Elvis Presley has 27.
