Ariana Grande Throws Major Shade After Winning Grammy But Skipping Performance

Ariana Grande threw major shade at the Grammys after winning an award but skipping the show following a fight with the show producer about which song she wanted to perform.

Her mogul manager Scooter Braun posted a video of the “7 Rings” singer sitting next to him on his sofa at home.

“Watching the Grammys with Allison,” he said showing a woman sitting next to him. He then turned the camera the other way and said: “And oh, Grammy award winning artist Ariana Grande.”

“Oof, hi,” Grande said as she raised her right hand dismissively to the camera.

In a non-televised award, Grande won her first Grammy on Feb. 10 for Best Pop Vocal Album for “Sweetener”. She beat out Camila Cabello, Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson, Shawn Mendes and Pink for the honor.

Pete Davidson’s ex fiancée was scheduled to perform at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards but pulled out after a fight with Ken Ehrlich, who refused to let her sing her new song, “7 Rings”, from her album “Thank You, Next”, which debuted at number one on Feb. 8, 2019.

“I know I’m not there tonight (trust, I tried and still truly wished it had worked out tbh) and I know I said i try not to put too much weight into these things …. but f-k,” Grande Tweeted after her win. “This is wild and beautiful. Thank you so much.”

Ehrlich first told the Associated Press negotiations for Grande’s performance fell through and she “felt it was too late for her to pull something together.”

But she hit back, Tweeting: “I can pull together a performance over night and you know that, Ken. It was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you, that I decided not to attend. I hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more.”

Grande posted a series of pictures wearing her Zac Posen dress on her Instagram page, writing:
“when @zacposen makes u a custom gown it doesn’t matter if you’re singing or not 🌫 …. thank u 🖤.”
